We are hosting a special event on Monday, May 20.
Mr. Niichiro Marumoto, President & Owner of Marumoto Sake Brewery – makers of the well regarded Chikurin (bamboo forest) brand of sake, will give a talk on sake making and organic rice growing. The brewery is located in Japan’s Okayama Prefecture. Most sake breweries buy their rice from rice farmers. But Mr Marumoto believes in farming his own organic rice to make his sake.
Chef Takashi Saito, will prepare a special 5 course dinner for pairing with 4 different kinds of sake at this event. There will be two seatings, at 6:30 and 7:30. Seats are limited to 40, total.
